Reimbursement Committee Overview
The Reimbursement Committee represents Certified/Hospice membership. Our group participates in and discusses reports from United Government Services and Blue Cross Blue Shield Liaison meetings. It also oversees a Billers Forum and has discussion concerning Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield and other payor sources as they effect Certified and Hospice lines of business. The Committee discusses financial changes that effect our member agencies in the above payor and business lines. We offer support and mentoring to the membership regarding agency finance and reimbursement issues. Benchmarking and sharing of information with our peers is another function of the Committee.
Who Should Attend?
Your agency must be a member of the Certified/Hospice service line. We encourage anyone involved on the financial side of their agency, be it a CFO, Administrator or Biller. We meet the first Thursday of every month. Please come and join us!
